Available headset options

This article encompasses different available headset options provided by the university to all full time faculty & staff.

The following are a list of available headset options available from IT. If you are a new employee or in need of one, please reach out to IT and we can provide one of your choosing

1. Wired headset - single ear

• Connects via USB or headphone jack.
• No charging required.
• Travels easily - no base station or charging required. 

2. Wired headset - both ears

• Connects via USB or headphone jack.
• No charging required.
• Travels easily - no base station or charging required.

3. Bluetooth headset - both ears

• Connects via Bluetooth
• Charged via USB-C cable
• Light and portable
• Raising mic during call mutes automatically

4. Wireless headset - single ear

• Base plugs into PC/Mac by USB*
  • **Not portable**
• Headset charges while on base station
• Picking up headset answers calls automatically. 
• Raising mic up during call mutes automatically.

5. Wireless headset - both ears

• Base plugs into PC/Mac by USB
  • **Not portable**
     
• Headset charges while on base station
• Picking up headset answers calls automatically.
