Install Printers on Mac

Begin by attempting to install via PrintDeploy:

If you are unable to install the printer through PrintDeploy, try the following steps to manually install the printer:

  • Install the Driver:
    • For a Konica: Select Software > KONICA MINOLTA C650i or C360i
      • Install Konicas Driver: https://onyxweb.mykonicaminolta.com/OneStopProductSupport?appMode=public&productId=2175&categoryId=1&subCategoryId=ft0 
      • Find MacOS in list
      • Adding a Printer:
        • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners > Double Click/Right-Click the top to customize taskbar > Drag and drop Advanced to the toolbar > Click on the Advanced (gears) > Follow Below:
          • Type: LPD/LPR Host or Printer
          • Device: Another device 
          • URL: lpd://print.campus.tayloru.edu/queuename
          • Name: QueueName
          • Use: Choose a Driver… 
            • Note: Konica Printers are the Big Campus Printers/ Colors are grey and dark grey
            • For a Konica: Select Software > KONICA MINOLTA C650i or C360i
            • Not a Konica Printer. Use default of General PostScript
      • Results:

      • Finisher:
        • For C650i:  FS-539 
        • For C360i: FS-533
